The National Association of Services Against Sexual Violence (NASASV) is the peak body for organisations who work with victim/survivors of sexual violence and who work to prevent sexual violence. NASASV is clear that sexual violence is:
    - about power and control,
    - is a crime, and
    - the responsibility for the crime is always with the perpetrator.

The role of NASASV is to challenge and change patriarchal attitudes, systems and structures. NASASV also works to ensure survivors of sexual violence are fully supported in their recovery and have access to a responsive criminal justice system. The ultimate goal of NASASV is to eliminate sexual violence.
